Roman Empire Writing Activity – Students evaluate why the Romans of Ancient Rome were so successful for so long. Students are lead through the process of writing a formal paragraph, although this could easily be extended into an essay assignment. Great way to incorporate writing into a social studies class!

Includes assignment sheet, brainstorming / organizer sheet, peer editing worksheet, writing paper and a marking rubric.
