This is a beautifully illustrated rhyming story about a little boy with too many toys. One Christmas Eve he is wondering what to do with the new toys he will soon receive. He meets Santa, who is out of toys and frantically searching for help. It is very touching, and even my fifth graders sit quietly and enjoy the story!
I read this every year just before my Christmas party. My students love it and enjoy the activity that follows.
Enjoy your holidays in the classroom!
