Do your students need extra practice with r-controlled words? These clip cards are designed to help them master that skill! There are 92 cards included in this resource. Each card has a picture and word with missing r-controlled sound. There are four choices to choose from and using clothes pins, your students will clip the pins to the missing r-controlled letters.

Check out the preview to see what words are included!

These clip cards are interactive and engaging for your students and can be easily used independently or in center groups. They can be sent home for homework to show parents what they are learning in class. And what a simple easy assessment tool for you to use to check your students understanding of r-controlled words!

Helpful tips:
Print these clip cards on card stock and laminate for extra sturdiness. Get a supply of clothes pins…the small ones you can buy at craft stores will work just fine.
