The Connett ConnectionThis packet includes a variety of activities to help studends learn the digraph WH. This packet focuses on word with WH at the beginning of the word. Practice reading, spelling and writing words with the digraph WH.
What is Included:
Page 2 – Instructions for how to print pages 3-12.
Pages 3-12 – Full page word family posters/cards.
Pages 13-16 – Tracing Cards. Laminate these cards and place in a writing center for students to practice writing words that include the digraph.
Pages 17-18 – Beginning Sound Cards: Students fill in the appropriate digraph at the beginning and ending of each word.
Pages 19-20 – Spelling Cards: Students spell the words represented in the word cards.
Page 21-26 – Word Family Clip Cards
Page 27-31 – Sorting Activities – Sort words that contain the digraph from words that do not contain the digraph.
Page 32-33 – Word Puzzles
