Choose from a selection of fifty words that begin with or contain a digraph this winter! Your students will have a snowball as they work with this digraphs activity.
After printing your digraphs activities in color or black and white (to conserve ink), your students will name the picture on each snowman, write the missing digraph, and trace the other letters for each word. This quick and simple center is great practice for your students during rotations or even as an early finishers activity. You many want to place the cards on a binder ring so your students can easily take the digraphs activity back to their seat.
Once your students have had plenty of practice with the activity cards, you can assess or monitor their learning with the five digraph worksheets. Each worksheet focuses on one digraph sound asking students to trace the digraph, write the missing digraph for the given pictures, and write a sentence using a digraph.
With the fun snowman theme, this digraphs activity can be used all winter long!
