Create a fun and memorable end of the year bulletin board display with these fun bugs and insects crafts!

WHAT YOU GET

Your download comes with five bugs and insects craft templates, illustrated directions to complete each craft, and a writing paper for each bug.

The following bugs and insects craft templates are included:

1. bee
2. butterfly
3. dragonfly
4. firefly
5. ladybug

The illustrated directions show students the six steps needed to complete each craft. These pages use the same vocabulary words, such as left antenna, that are used to label the craft template pages.

The included writing papers say “This year flew by like a [bug name]!” These are open-ended so you can create any type of writing display you want. There are a few suggestions in your download like asking your students to share one way they grew academically or personally over the school year.

No grade levels are mentioned within this resource, but the writing paper is only included with handwriting lines.

WAY TO USE

The resource was designed to create a bulletin board display. You could title the display “This Year Flew By!”, whether you use all the bugs or just one.

However, these would also work well for a bugs and insects unit. Students could write reports about the bugs rather than their memories from the year.

Additionally, you could use the crafts on their own and not utilize the accompanying writing paper. These would make fun projects for the last day of school or a great door display for the last month of school.
