Social Stories are a visual guide to describe social interactions, situations, behaviors, skills, or concepts. This book is about The Last Day Of School. This book will help children who have a difficult time with transitions. The goal of a social story is to help children who have a difficult time adapting to social situations. Social Stories should be used along with role playing, priming, and positive reinforcement. Social Stories have been proven to have positive outcomes for children with autism. I also use social stories with my general education children and in my inclusive classroom.
