Need an independent way to practice using guide words? Students will read about a set guide words and determine which of four words will be found on the dictionary page between the two words. All words have same beginning letter and some require going to third or fourth letters to alphabetize.
Great practice for individuals or partners!
There are 24 self-checking cards.
They can check their own answers using the QR codes or turn in completed task sheet to be graded by teacher.
Use cards for early finishers, scoot them from one student to another, use in small group review stations, or use as a quiz.
Great for literacy centers!
