This packet includes several dice games for learning about the IG word family. There are at least 4 different ways to use these dice and recording sheets.

Pages 1-2 are templates for die where one dice has the word family and the other dice has the beginning sound.
Page 3 is a recording sheet to use with the die on page 1 and 2. Students will roll the die. They will place the die together to form their word family word then say the word and color the spot on the page above the word they rolled. The goal is to keep rolling, saying and coloring until one word reaches the top OR to color the whole page.
Page 4 has two uses. It can be a single player activity where students use the die from pages 1-2 and color the word on the page as they roll the word until all words are filled. It can also be a multi-player game where each student will have a different color. The students take turns rolling the die and using their color to color the correct words. The students who has colored the most squares wins!
Page 5-6 are another die template where one is in color and one is in black and white. These die have pictures of the word family words on each side.
Page 7 is the recording sheet for the die on page 5-6. Roll roll the die and say the word and color the spot on the page above the word they rolled. The goal is to keep rolling, saying and coloring until one word reaches the top OR to color the whole page.
Page 8 is another recording page that can be used with any of the die sets. Simply have the students write the words as they roll them!
