The January Choice Board includes 8 creative activities for students to choose from (based on the 8 multiple intelligences). Each activity references a national holiday that takes place in January. Choice Boards are great for early finishers, but can also work in a center rotation, or as independent work during your reading workshop time. You decide how many activities you want your students to complete, making differentiation a snap!
This is also a great idea to send home as monthly homework! My students’ families loved working on these Choice Boards as an alternative to traditional (boring) worksheets.
