This was designed as an easy prep center for you and fun writing opportunity for your students! Students will choose three of the five picture words to help them answer the writing prompt. Most the prompts included were written to be able to correlate with special celebrations in the month of September but do not have to be used on any given date. You’ll also find some apple themed choices. There are two versions; one with handwriting line, so you can choose the one that best meets the needs of your students. There is also an extra full lined page that can be copied on the back if you want to encourage more lengthy writing.

This is such a fun writing resource! I love that students have a choice of picture words to go along with their writing prompt. It is also helpful for teachers that you have included the 2 versions of writing paper as some students are only writing one sentence (if that) while others want to write a book. LOL! Thank you for understanding needs of our young writers and for providing such great prompts!
