How should I use this resource?

Each time a new word or list of words is introduced to your students, you can provide them with a new flash card to add to their ring. This way your students will always have words to review and learn at their fingertips.

How should I assemble this resource?
I suggest you provide each student with a binder ring to keep their sight words on. To help students easily find their place on their word rings, consider copying the “I can read these words!” on a piece of green colored paper. Copy the “I need to practice these words!” on yellow paper. (Any color variations will work, use what you have on hand!) This helps students easily review words they have mastered and work on the ones they still need to practice.

Is there a way to track which words students have on their rings?

There is a page at the beginning of your download with a list of all the words included. You can check off boxes as you give the cards to your students. You can also print one page for each student and mark when students have mastered their words.
