Students can’t wait until summer arrives, and neither can their teachers! This activity will get them excited about their up-coming break and keep them engaged in their math lessons at the same time. Students will count characters on both sides of the slide, (1-12) and then label the number sentence with a greater than, less than, or equal to symbol. If using a smartboard, students may also label each side with the correct number. May also be used as a quiz – have students write the correct number sentence for each slide. 24 Question slides – enough for each student to mark an answer on the board.
