Help students pick a book by using the text feature clues that are in Fiction and Non-Fiction books. Students learn how to preview a book to see if it will be interesting or helpful for a Novel Study or a Research Project. Includes 4 pages total (two for Fiction and 2 for Non-Fiction).

I like to use the Fiction sheets before starting a Novel study or Literature Circle if students are picking their own book or from a selection of books.

The non-fiction book preview sheets will help students determine if the book will be a helpful resource for their research.
