Reading logs are the perfect way to encourage your students to read at home. These thematic pages will keep kids excited each month as they get to color new pictures.

What will the students do on each page?

On all the logs included you can choose to have students color in the objects or write titles on them.

How many days are students required to read with these?

The number varies, but you can also have students use them to record when they finish reading entire books. There are four options that just have book covers if you are looking for a way for students to record reading every day – 28, 29, 30, and 31 days are included.

What themes are included?

These logs were first created to send home throughout the year, so some of them are suited for particular months. However, you can use any of the logs in any order.

The following themes are included: penguins fishing (January), snowflakes (February), kites (March), butterflies (April), elephants (May), sand buckets (June), bugs (July), bookshelf (August), apples (September), pumpkins (October), turkeys (November), gingerbread (December), magician and stars, frogs with logs, beehive, superheroes, and books (daily reading challenges).

Can you add a specific theme to this pack?

Currently, there are no plans to add to this pack of reading logs. You can always submit a request through the ‘Ask a Question’ feature in my store, but additions are not guaranteed.
