These fun beginning sound worksheets or alphabet picture hunts are perfect for your early finishers! Students will work on identifying the beginning sound of various pictures and have more exposure to the spelling of common words.

Often times students will struggle more with determining what a picture is supposed to represent rather than the skill being practiced. The labeled pictures make it easier for students to focus on beginning sounds.

If they happen to use the words as a clue to finding the right answers, then they are just using a tool to help them!
