Making their own conclusions and drawing inferences are some of the hardest skills taught to our elementary students. They are taught to ‘prove’ their answers, but if the exact answers are not written, they could get frustrated and give up. We have to teach them to read deeper, find the clues, and come to the correct conclusions from information in their readings. Here are a few practice questions to introduce ‘Drawing Conclusions and Making Inferences.’
