These free IRIS box labels coordinate with my Clip and Flip centers. I created these labels to store my clip cards in the IRIS 4×6 photo boxes.

Please note that some of the labels are duplicated in this freebie. I have organized the labels by bundle so that you only need to print the ones you need.

Print based on your bundles:

Kindergarten & First Grade: 3-6

Kindergarten: 7-9

Ultimate CVC: 10-12

First Grade: 13-16

Can you tell me more about the Clip and Flip series?

All my Clip and Flip Card centers are designed to be an independent activity for your students to practice working on skills they are already familiar with. Students will look at the picture and identify the correct answer by clipping their card with a clothespin.

To make this a self-checking activity, you can mark the correct answer on the back of each card. Then students can flip the card over to check their answer choice.

How do I make them self-checking centers?

Making this activity self-checking will take a little extra time when you are prepping the materials but will help your students be more independent. You can mark the correct answer on the back of each card – I suggest doing this before you laminate. Using stickers to note the correct answer is fun, but drawing a line with a marker will work just as well!

I don’t have clothespins. How can I still utilize these clip cards?

No problem! If you laminate your center, students can use dry-erase markers to select their answer choice. You could also use mini-erasers, cubes, or other manipulatives for students to cover their answer choice.

Clothespins are great for fine motor practice and make it easier for students to check their work if you are having them clip and flip their cards. You can usually pick up a pack of 36 clothespins for $1 from your local dollar store.

Where can I find these clip card centers?

There are three bundles available in my store. Check out the kindergarten phonics bundle, ultimate CVC bundle, or first grade phonics bundle.
