This set features an interactive sentence booklet for every letter of the alphabet.

Each page has everything you need to make the booklets, so you only need to copy ONE page per child each time you focus on a letter. This keeps things simple for young children who are just starting to use interactive notebooks, and saves paper and photocopying prep!

How to make the booklets:

1. Cut the page apart in 3 equal parts.
2. Glue on the edges where indicated to create a 3 page booklet.
3. Cut the letter off of the end of the pages and glue in the correct spots to build words.
4. Read the two sentences; the letter will appear several times.
5. Write the sentence properly on the lines below.
6. Use a checklist to make ensure proper sentence formation.

There are two alliterative sentences for each letter of the alphabet, as well as an illustrated cover. Students will need to pay particular attention to the upper and lower case options, as some sentences have the letter missing at the beginning of the sentence, while others do not.

To differentiate:
Level 1: Early readers may simply draw the letter in the spaces and copy only one sentence rather than two.
Level 2: Complete as described above.
LEVEL 3: Early finishers can draw a picture of each silly sentence on the back of the page. The illustration must match the details of the sentences to demonstrate comprehension. For more challenge, write more words or sentences with the focus letter in it.

With these different levels in mind, the same page can be used to keep students of all levels motivated, engaged and challenged!
