A craft to reinforce the concept of ADDITION TO 10.
Integrate math and art to reinforce concepts in a new way!
Practice and solidify core math concepts in a fun and engaging way with this adorable math craft! My students LOVE learning math through art, and my classroom is always bright and colorful as we display our results.
- This simple project integrates math and art together to create a whimsical bird whose feathers illustrate different ways to make 10. Students color, cut out, and assemble the birds to solidify this math concept.
- All the templates are included, so all you have to do is print them out for each student.
- There are different versions included: One version uses math equations, while the other version uses a ten frame to illustrate equations to ten. Both templates include a Make Ten Equations poster to glue under the bird. Send the craft home so parents can reinforce these equations!
- The coloring, cutting, gluing and problem solving makes it a perfect hands-on activity.
- This math craft makes an adorable classroom or hallway display!
- This pack includes extra color posters and centers to keep practicing the skills.
