This is a fantastic way to practice determining the correct dictionary meaning of many multiple meaning words. I searched for worksheets or practice activities, but couldn’t find them. I decided to let my students help me make the worksheets, and I gave them all a word and a dictionary. They did a great job creating their own sentences, and then wanted to see all their classmates’ work. This activity turned into a two day lesson with more dictionary and definition practice than any worksheet was going to offer!
