These picture clip cards can be used to practice or review throughout the year! They make quick set up literacy centers or can be taken to student desks to complete and are easy to store too!
What are clip cards?
Clip cards are a fun, interactive way for students to practice skills in a hand-on multiple choice format. In this set you will find 48 cards provided in both color and line art versions.
What are the benefits of using clip cards?
They are easy to introduce and for children to use for independent practice. They can help develop fine motor skills. They are a stepping stone to preparing students for multiple choice assessments.
How do I prepare my clip card center?
To improve function and durability I suggest copying or printing the cards on card stock, laminating after cutting apart, and cutting again. The extra steps will take a little more time but will allow you to use it far longer. You will need to add your own clothespins or clips to complete the center.
How can I make this a self-correcting center?
After initial cutting, place a dot, stamp, or sticker on the back of the box with the correct answer on each card to make them self-correcting. Then laminate and cut again.
