Rhyming activities allow students to practice phonemic awareness in a fun way that helps them become better readers. This Rhyming Pictures Write the Room was designed for beginning practice and those that will benefit from more picture support.

This resource includes 24 picture cards (in both color and line art) which have been divided into two sets. One is numbered and one is lettered in case you choose to use them at the same time with different groups. You can also use one for initial practice and save the other for reteaching, review, or even a quick assessment. There are three different recording sheet options included.

Your students may also enjoy practicing with rhyming clip cards and rhyming puzzles.
