This simple literacy center is a favorite when students are given their choice of activity. It’s simple, but effective, and builds reading confidence in my students!

This pack focuses on early readers as the vocabulary is purposely simple, focusing on number and color words, as well as common sight words used in simple sentences.

There are two different activities included in this set:

1. Match picture and simple sentences.
2. Use a dry erase marker to fill in the missing words for each sentence, based on picture and context glues, as well as letter-shape boxes.
